In accordance with testing industry best practices, ASCM uses cut score studies to help determine the passing score of APICS certification exams. CSCP Cut Score Study participants are required to attend a 6–8-hour virtual meeting in March 2027, which will be held over two days and may be asked to complete some work prior to the study.

The CSCP Exam Subcommittee is charged with the development and maintenance of the APICS CSCP certification program. Subcommittee members must attend and actively contribute to all committee meetings and conference calls. All Certification related work will be conducted remotely. The volunteer workload is estimated at up to 10 hours a month.
