  1. Hello everyone,

I'm excited to join the ASCM community and begin my journey toward the CSCP certification.

I'm a distribution and supply chain leader from Illinois with 20+ years of experience transforming under-performing DCs into top-performing operations. My background spans shipping/receiving, inventory control, fleet management, and SAP system implementation across retail, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Business Management and will finish in Fall 2027. I recently started the CSCP Learning System and I'm looking forward to deepening my knowledge in end-to-end supply chain strategy, particularly in areas like demand planning, global logistics, and supplier relationship management where I hope to expand my expertise beyond the distribution center floor.

Any tips, study recommendations, or advice from those who have already completed the CSCP journey would be greatly appreciated. I'm especially interested in hearing how fellow operations leaders balanced the learning system with full-time management responsibilities.

Looking forward to connecting and exchanging insights with professionals from around the world!

  2. Hello everyone,

I'm excited to join the community and start my journey toward obtaining my CLTD certification.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in Operations and Supply Chain Management, and I am currently an Order Selector for a company called H-E-B. The job market has been tough for me this past year, but I feel blesses to receive the offer from H-E-B as it is a company I always wanted to get into. My experience with that job would be selecting accurate items per assignment, ensuring proper stacking techniques for one or two pallets, and calling any shortages on given assignments.

What I am doing at this time is completing microlearning courses and a free course that has become available for me called Foundations of Manufacturing Management, and I have learned a lot regarding manufacturing choices and making critical decisions involving transportation and manufacturing of goods and services. Any tips on how to prepare for the CLTD certification exam?

I look forward to making any connections in this community as possible.
