Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out to this group for guidance and insight from fellow supply chain professionals.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and have hands-on experience as an Inventory Control Supervisor, where I managed inventory accuracy, supported operations, and worked closely with cross-functional teams. I’m also CSCP certified and completed the Management Essentials certificate from Harvard Business School Online to further strengthen my leadership and business skills.

Despite this education and experience, I’m finding it challenging to secure my next role in the supply chain field since I moved to US (South Bend). I’ve been actively applying and networking, but I would really appreciate advice from those who’ve navigated a similar situation or are currently hiring.

Some questions I’m hoping to get input on:

  • What steps would you recommend to stand out in today’s job market?
  • Are there specific roles, skills, or tools I should focus on next?
  • How can I better leverage ASCM, certifications, or networking to open doors?
  • Any resume, interview, or job-search strategies that worked well for you?

Thank you in advance for your time and insights. I truly value this community and look forward to learning from your experiences.

Best regards,

Neetu Singh
