Hi everyone! I'm Elman Amador, a recent Stanford MBA graduate who just moved to Dallas and joined ASCM through the North Texas chapter. My path into supply chain is a mix: I started as a biomedical engineer at Georgia Tech, founded a delivery startup, and ran operations for a food delivery company across Latin America. Now I'm building a tech company here in Dallas that builds digital twins of physical operations, so companies can run optimizations without needing a technical team of their own. I want to focus on working with companies from here in Texas, and to learn from the people who run these operations day to day. I'd love to connect with others in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and I'm planning to attend the North Texas chapter dinner on November 5. If you came into supply chain from a nontraditional background, I'd especially enjoy hearing how you made the switch.
